Pico-8 Endless Runner Engine 540 Tokens and 992 B compressed. I made it for the Pico-8 1K Jam. There is a commented version on the github as well as my itch (543 tokens). This is my Pico-8 Cellular automata map generator

I made this for the PICO-8 1K Jam, which challenges creators to make a pico-8 tool, art piece, or game in 1024 bytes. This cart comes in at a whopping 811 bytes including some comments for usability. I has both a pixel and sprite mode for generation and was a lot of fun to implement. Cellular Automata was discovered by Stanislaw Ulam and John von Neumann, who worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory. The algorithm has many applications but the idea here is map generation. Mother Tree

The Mother Tree was made for the Backtrace GameJam #3 which ran from December 3rd 2021 at 12:00 PM to December 5th 2021 at 9:59 PM. It was a solo dev entry. It was made in Unity with the Corgi Engine, Art assets were made by Penusbmic and Music was made by Andrea Baroni. A special thanks to Backtrace for putting on a great jam.

You are the repair bot. The system is in error. You must find the mother tree, and upload the bug fix. Oh and watch-out for the bugs!!

Lost in the Frost

Runner up Mini Jam 42: Snow

Lost in the Frost is a platforming shooter set in a drab 2-color word. by StormFath3r (Mountainside Games)

It was created for Mini Jam 42 and was completed in 72 hours from November 29th 2019 to December 1st 2019. MiniJam 42 had a theme of “Snow” and a limitation of 2 colors(no shading). All assets were created by me with the exception of the SFX. Lost in the Frost was built in Unity with the Corgi Engine extension.
